Each card was drawn for the birthday of a specific person.
Plots of the postcards became more complicated over time. It's easy to see how much detail appears on each successive postcard.
The very first postcard. The emergence of the idea of forest animals.
There are new characters and interesting situations.
Then there are professions or interests of those people to whom the postcards will be addressed. For example, a programmer.
Math teacher.
Music lover.
